The Popular Bald Eagle Nests
Currently the most popular bald eagle nest is without a doubt, Jackie & Shadow at the Big Bear Valley. These celebrities have garnered over 90k concurrent viewers on the livestream. Friends of Big Bear Valley (FOBBV) operates two live feeds on Youtube for viewers 24/7. They recently hatched 3 healthy eaglets during a Winter storm. A must watch!
The eaglets have been named by FOBBV! The bigger chick is now named Sunny, and the smaller chick is named Gizmo.
Pin feathers can be observed on the eaglets as of late March. These are early stages of feather development. Be sure to check out our updates as we post pictures on the Jackie & Shadow page.
As of late April, Sunny and Gizmo are now self-feeding, displaying wonderful growth development.
Southwest Florida Eagle Nest
Another fan favorite is the SWFL bald eagle nest. M15 is known as the “super dad” of bald eagles. In 2023, after the disappearance of his mate Harriet, he successfully raised two eaglets alone. He now nests with a new female, F23.
AEF NEFL Eagle Nest
The Northeast Florida eagle nest, monitored by the American Eagle Foundation (AEF) via live cams, is located in a slash pine tree about 80 feet off the ground near the northeast coast of Florida. This nest is occupied by Gabby and Beau, along with their new eaglet NE31 (Bodie). This bald eagle nest is rich with history.
Bodie officially fledged as of 4/11/25, a proud success story for Gabby and Beau at this eagle nest.
